Bruno Annibale, Full Professor of Gastroenterology at the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology of the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” was born in Rome on November 13, 1955.
The results achieved in his teaching and research activities include: author of 142 scientific papers indexed in PubMed; member of the Editorial Board of the World Journal of Gastroenterology; principal investigator of MIUR research grants in 2005 and 2007 for studies on gastric cancer; principal investigator of research grants from Sapienza University since 2007 for studies on autoimmune gastritis.
Positions held: lecturer in the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery II; lecturer in Nursing Sciences (Sant’Andrea campus); lecturer in the Schools of Specialization in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology; lecturer in the PhD program in Digestive Oncology; member of the Executive Committee of UNIGASTRO, a scientific society for education in Gastroenterology; head of the program for the study of gastrointestinal diseases causing micronutrient malabsorption; coordinator of the PhD Program in Oncology.
