The Governance of the Department of Medical, Surgical and Translational Medicine is guided by the Director who represents the structure for all legal purposes and guarantees its autonomy and cultural unity.
In order to pursue its institutional duties, the Department is provided with organizational and administrative autonomy for all the contractual and conventional expenditure measures that concern it directly, with both public and private subjects, in compliance with the current legislation, excluding the possibility of administrative measures of a general nature or relating to matters reserved to other bodies identified for this purpose by the Statute of Wisdom.
The Department bodies are: Department Council, Director and Executive.
The Department Director is assisted, in the management of the Department's activities, by the Administrative Secretary, responsible for the Administrative Secretariat who coordinates the administrative-accounting activities, assuming the responsibility, jointly with the Director, for the consequent acts.
